An interview with Your Questions for Sara Davies from Crafters Companion!

Sara Davies 3 Anwers Your Questions

How much do we all love the amazing Sara Davies from Crafters Companion. Not only is she super talented and makes awesome crafting goodies but she’s a delight to know!

In fact, she’s become so successful in her home country of England she was awarded one of the highest awards by the Queen and lucky her (I’m soooo jealous) she was given the award by Prince William.  She told me she just wanted to give him a little peck since he was so very close to her face!! Gotta love it!

Anyway, many of you had some great questions for Sara so I did a little interview with her last night to get some answers!!

One of my favorite features of the kit are the Colorista pads that help us all look like professional watercolor artists without having a lick of painting ability!

So with that in mind….I put together a quick and easy card project that packs a lot of wow!

Anna Griffin Halloween Kit is Here!! (and her new Xryon Sticker Maker)

Halloween Anna Griffin KitIt’s always fun when uber talented Anna Griffin releases her Halloween paper kits!  If you love to decorate for Halloween or want to make cards, even candy bag tags, this is a fun kit to have.

Anna rarely does a Halloween kit and she wanted to get it out early so you’d have plenty of time!  What I love about this kit is the cardstock is fantastic and the dies are really fun.

Ultimately, it’s the ease and SPEED that I love. We are all time starved and you can create something  great in minutes with this kit!

Below is my video that gives you an sneak peak of what’s inside and also I’ll show you two finished cards to make!

From Frumpy to Fabo! Dollar Store gift bag goes custom with the Cricut & iPad!

Custom Dollar Store Giftbag green

How do you take a very inexpensive gift bag and make it fun and unique? Well, pull out your computer or iPad and the Cricut and make magic happen!

We all have tons of reasons to give gifts and if you’re like me, a gift bag is a lot faster then, heaven forbid, actually wrapping a gift….but gift bags that are unique cost a fortune while the rest are just plain.

So how can your next perfect present stand out on a table chocked full of gifts?  Just add vinyl letters to that old gift bag by using the Cricut Cutting Machine!

In the video below I use my iPad to show you how to make it!

Dollar Tree Party Hanging DIY you tube

I’m such a fan of strolling the aisles of my local Dollar Tree and see what inspires me! Recently,  I decided to create a 4th of July and a birthday Luau decorative hanging project.

So, for a couple of bucks and a bunch of hot glue, the circle die from Crafters Companion “Circle Centre” and my little workhorse, the Gemini die cutting machine,  here are the result!

Enjoy and have an amazing day!

Embossing & Die Cutting with the Gemini from Crafters Companion How To “101”

Gemini 101.png

I think one of the most confusing things for new crafters or card makers and even those of us who are a bit more seasoned is using an embossing and die cutting machine.  Well in the video below I’ll walk you through the amazing Gemini from Crafters Companion!  If you’ve used crank style machines those will be a thing of the past!

This is totally automatic and works with basically all brands of die and folders.  I go through set up, how to make “The Sandwich” to testing three of the major brands…Crafters Companion, Anna Griffin and Stampin’ Up.

Thanks so much for checking this out, please share my video on Facebook and Pin this on Pinterest if you can!!

I love making cards with all my Anna Griffin goodies but they end up being really thick sometimes….so I did a video showing you how to create a deeper envelope for those lovely Anna cards we like to make!  I used the Stampin’ Up Envelope Punch Board designed by We R Memory Keepers.  We have a Customer Pick configuration on HSN.com if you don’t have one already.

Please share this video idea if you like it! I’ve included the how to video below!
